ZINE
Assignment Goal: Create an 8+ page zine with InDesign.
This zine focuses on astrology and the different characteristics associated with each of the twelve signs. The feel of the zine is rugged and looks like a combination of hand-crafted and print work. The pages are arranged to mimic a personalized journal wherein spreads were hand assembled, painted, and written on. Many zines that I have come across are black and white so many copies can be made and distributed which is translated through the lack of colors in the design. Ultimately, the pages are meant to look handmade and subsequently scanned into a computer to achieve the final result.
